Senior Testing Manager
Typical Accountabilities:
• Work in line with existing test strategies, test plans and good practices on IT projects.
• Conduct great testing and documenting and reporting that testing in a professional capacity.
• Strong test leadership, working directly with other testers to assist them with their testing.
• Fluent in talking about and promoting/influencing great testing practices to project team members.
• Strong stakeholder management to effectively handle issues such as escalating risks and changes to testing scope.
• Ensure the testing team engaged on the project adhere to all standards, quality, and compliance.
• Use existing and identify new testing tools to assist testing activities.
• Teach testers and other project members about said tool and how to use them effectively.
• Support / lead testing that supports all types of project methodology (Scrum, KanBan, Waterfall, V-Model, SAFe, etc)
• Works collaboratively with:
• Test Managers – obtaining guidance on testing strategies to use within the projects.
• Test Engineers (at all levels) – Leading by example, working directly alongside the test engineers
• Test Programme Managers – Providing status updates on the testing progress within a project.

• Approximate number of people managed in total (all levels) - 5
• Manager of a team
What is the global remit? (how many countries will the role operate in?):
• 2 or 3 countries at a minimum of 40% of time
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Skills and Capabilities:
• Essential: Strong Testing Skills; A capable knowledge of software testing and automation.; Excellent communication and relationship building skills; Strong knowledge and experience of testing tools and methodologies; Excellent domain skills and acumen with sensitivity to environment; Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Desirable: Demonstrated skills in leadership and coaching; Agile and Waterfall
